CRAIG O. WEST

EXPERIENCE Craig's legal experience began as a Circuit Court Judicial Assistant for 4 years before receiving his juris doctor degree from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College. In 1976 he was admitted to practice in Oregon state and federal courts. In 2000 he was admitted to practice in Washington state courts.
In over three decades Craig has emphasized professional and personal service. His practice specialties now include Subrogation and select Private Clients.
JUDGE & ARBITRATOR The Oregon Supreme Court appointed Craig as a Circuit Court Judge Pro Tem from 2005 through 2008. Judge West efficiently handled hundreds of Landlord-Tenant disputes and decided over 100 Small Claim trials. Craig is also a court approved arbitrator in many of Oregon Circuit Courts.
PROFESSIONAL Craig has accumulated a long list of professional and civic volunteer service credentials, including Washington County Bar Association President, Oregon State Bar House of Delegates, Oregon State Bar Committees, WCBA Judicial Selection Committee and he is a speaker at various seminars and meetings.
PERSONAL Craig comes from a long line of attorneys. His great uncle was Governor Oswald West. His father, Willis A. West, was a WWII war crimes prosecutor. His brother Joseph W. West is a shareholder with Bullivant Houser Bailey.
Craig is married to Kenna L. West, J.D., and he has 3 grown children. He enjoys traveling, woodworking and spending time with his family.
